Braiden’s parents, Wayne and Stef said:” We would like to thank other charity, FAN, for their support. However, we have decided to set up a new appeal with the Neuroblastoma Alliance UK as the charity has more experience in helping families fundraise for treatment than any other neuroblastoma charity in the UK. By working with the Neuroblastoma Alliance UK, we feel that Braiden has the best chance of getting the treatment he needs.
The appeal with old charity has now been closed. All the money raised so far with them, which totalled £24,636.59 at the end of September, will be transferred directly from the old charity to the hospital when Braiden needs it for his treatment costs. It is not shown on his new JustGiving page, or in the total raised offline, as that money was raised with a different charity.
We will be asking the other charity for an update on the total funds raised with them for Braiden around the end of September as we know there was still money coming in for him. We want to reassure everyone who donated to the old appeal that the money they gave to help Braiden is ready and waiting for him when he needs it!“
